The First Asia International High School (FAIHS) is a constituent academic unit of FAITH Colleges and home of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). FAITH Colleges is the first IB World School offering the IBDP in the province of Batangas.

The International Baccalaureate Organization (known as the IBO) offers four high-quality and challenging educational programmes for a worldwide community of schools, aiming to create a better, more peaceful world.
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. “The Diploma Programme (DP) provides a challenging, internationally focused, broad, and balanced educational experience for students aged 16 to 19. Students are required to study six subjects and a curriculum core concurrently over two years. The programme is designed to equip students with the basic academic skills needed for university study, further education, and their chosen profession. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a globally recognized, challenging and comprehensive pre-university curriculum that prepares students for success in higher education and beyond.
IBDP curriculum comprises six subject groups while developing essential life skills through the IB Core components. This balanced approach fosters critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness.
Students seeking admission to the First Asia International High School IB Diploma Program must demonstrate their desire for international-mindedness and the development of the IB learner’s attributes. Applicants are expected to have inquiring, reflective and open minds; good communication skills; and caring and principled attitudes.

Interested Grade 10 students need to accomplish the following:
a. Fill out the application form and attend the IB Informational Meeting scheduled by First Asia International High School.
b. The attendance of parents/ legal guardians in the IB Informational Meeting is required.
c. Submit an Application of Intent with an essay related to the IB Learner’s Profile and the applicant’s reason for applying.
d. Written letters of recommendation from the student’s three teachers (Class adviser, Language, and Science/ Math teachers) are likewise required.
Applicants shall then be required to take a Diagnostic Examination which will help the school further understand the applicant’s academic potential. The applicants must take the Ottis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT) which is a 40-72 item standardized achievement test used to measure a student’s verbal, quantitative and figural reasoning skills in relation to their scholastic abilities. The test measures one’s scholastic ability and is used as a basis to measure the level of scholastic competency of students. A panel composed of, but not limited to, the Head of School, DP Coordinator, Head of Admissions, and Guidance Counsellor shall interview the applicant.

The FAITH Colleges campus boasts of world–class facilities that rival many of Metro Manila’s established colleges and universities.
